Terms and Conditions

1. Merchandise damaged in shipping will be the responsibility of the freight carrier. Please inspect packaging to assure the product has not been damaged in transit. We palletize all orders shipped by truck to minimize the possibility of damage.

2. Returns will be accepted for no more than 30 days from receipt of the order. A return authorization must be obtained from our office. Any returned items will be charged a 25% restocking charge in addition to return freight. Credits will not be issued until merchandise is received in acceptable (re-sellable) condition.

Dura-Ceramic Urethane

Dura-Ceramic 25 year Finish Warranty

Directwood.com Flooring is finished with a Dura-Ceramic finish. It is one of the most durable ultraviolet cured ceramic urethane finishes on the market. We warranty our floors to the original homeowner. We warranty our floors for a period of 25 years under normal residential usage, provided that the recommended maintenance procedures are followed.

EXCLUSIONS TO WARRANTY

The following are excluded from the warranty: Improper Installation-The floor must be installed in accordance to DirectWood.com’s Instruction

Improper Maintenance - Maintenance instructions must be followed. Wet mopping will void this warranty.
Extreme Conditions - The humidity level in the home must be maintained at 35-55% range throughout the year using air conditioners, humidifiers or dehumidifiers as needed.
Abuse or Misuse - This warranty does not cover damage caused by stiletto heels, heavy furniture or equipment, pet claws, pebbles or sand.
Moisture Damage - This warranty does not cover damage caused by moisture penetration through the subfloor, flooding, leaking plumbing, overflowing sinks or similar moisture related damages.
Ultraviolet Light Damage - This warranty does not cover damage caused by ultraviolet light. Wood products will change color when exposed to ultraviolet light.
Natural Variations - Wood is a natural product, containing natural variations in tone, color and grain. We do not warranty against natural variations in color within the floor nor variations between samples and the installed floor.
Insect Infestation - This warranty does not cover any insect infestation after the product has left the factory.
